My proposed design for the homepage.
Launched in 2000, this was a total redesign of the municipal website for the Town of Blacksburg, Virginia.
Many parts of the site are database-driven, and my primary role for this project was the development of browser-based tools which allow the Town staff to easily update this information.
Built with PHP and MySQL, this site received a 2001 "Award of Excellence" from the City-County Communications and Marketing Association.
In late 2002, with the departure of the Town's webmaster, I worked with Town staff on content updates, and helped interview applicants to fill the position.
